Hay is one of the most direct ways to help livestock after a disaster. A quick conversation first keeps your donation useful to the people receiving it.
What to tell us first
Before anything is loaded or shipped, have these details ready:
Bale type and condition
Round or square, hay type, and its condition.
Amount and size
How many bales and approximate bale size.
Hauling
Whether you can deliver, need help with transport, or have trailers available.
Unload needs
Equipment at your location for loading and what is needed at delivery.
Confirm before you ship
Needs change by disaster and by location. Please coordinate and confirm with the team before shipping or hauling hay. Do not leave hay at a location without confirmation.
